At every cosplay event I go to, he'll be there, and once he spots me, he'll make a beeline for me and deliberately stand behind me to irritate me. I'm very sure he does it so that he's in a position to photograph me secretly, for purposes that are probably less than honorable. I do not understand why people are always looking for trouble. Is this a product of the education system in Singapore, that instills such overcompetitiveness in its people?
Yesterday was no different. I was standing at the stage watching. He saw me from far and came over, and stood behind me.
I immediately turned and moved, and ended up behind him.
He immediately turned and did the same, and was behind me again.
And I did it again.
And he knew he'd been discovered.
So he went off somewhere else.
But his camera was always pointed towards me, even when his back was facing me.
A remote trigger?
I don't know what he's up to but I know he's been collecting photos of me for a while (read, many years).
I hope it's not one of those cases where they hope to climb up the ladder (pardon the irony) by discrediting other photographers.
